At the ‘Monozukuri Okazaki Fair’ held on August 27th and 28th, we exhibited works of ‘karakuri improvement’ created primarily from the manufacturing site.
 

■ Karakuri Name: Gravity Rotation
Before Improvement： To prevent quality defects, welded finished products are cooled, but they overlap in the temporary storage area, making them difficult to retrieve.
After Improvement： By rotating a homemade screw with the weight of the products, it became possible to cut out one item.

■ Karakuri Name: Air Leak Monitoring (Award-winning work of the Special Prize at the 28th Karakuri Improvement Exhibition)
Before improvement： Attach measuring equipment to the air source valve to check the flow rate.
After improvement： Use a tube with slits and a spring to visualize the flow of air.

 
By working on Karakuri Kaizen improvements, we believe we can contribute to the creation of a sustainable company that reduces costs, fosters human resource development, and promotes diversity from the perspective of SDGs. We will continue to actively promote Karakuri Kaizen improvements.
