On May 30, we held the 21st M・TPS conference. Our employees presented the results of their daily improvement activities. It was a good opportunity to consider whether there are any ‘MURI (overburden), MURA (unevenness), and MUDA (waste)’ in their work and whether the tasks that are taken for granted are truly necessary. *TPS stands for Toyota Production System, which refers to the Toyota production method. It is a production system established to thoroughly eliminate waste in the production line. It is also called the ‘Just in Time production method,’ which is the concept of supplying ‘what is needed’ ‘in the necessary amount’ ‘at the necessary time.’
