We have established the \u201cHuman Rights Policy\u201d (\u201cPolicy\u201d) as follows, and we will promote initiatives to respect human rights using this as a guideline.<\/p>\n<div class=\"companySourcing__contents\">\n<h3 class=\"ttl\"><span class=\"num\">01.<\/span>Basic Approach to Human Rights<\/h3>\n<p class=\"txt\">The Maruyasu Group supports and respects international norms on human rights, such as the International Bill of Human Rights and the International Labor Organization\u2019s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.<\/p>\n<p>                We will comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region in which we operate. In cases where the domestic laws and regulations differ from the international principles and standards, we will seek ways to respect internationally recognized human rights principles and standards.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"companySourcing__contents\">\n<h3 class=\"ttl\"><span class=\"num\">02.<\/span>Scope of Application<\/h3>\n<p class=\"txt\">This policy applies to all executive members and employees (including part-time employees, fixed-term employees, contractual workers, etc.) of the Maruyasu Group (Maruyasu Industries Co., Ltd., and its consolidated subsidiaries). Furthermore, we expect all our business partners, including suppliers, to understand and support the Policy.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"companySourcing__contents\">\n<h3 class=\"ttl\"><span class=\"num\">03.<\/span>Human Rights Due Diligence<\/h3>\n<p class=\"txt\">The Maruyasu Group is making efforts to establish a human rights due diligence mechanism in accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and aims to identify, prevent, and mitigate any negative impact on human rights.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"companySourcing__contents\">\n<h3 class=\"ttl\"><span class=\"num\">04.<\/span>Correction Steps and Remedies<\/h3>\n<p class=\"txt\">If the Maruyasu Group learns that our business activities have caused or aggravated a negative impact on human rights, we take corrective steps through appropriate means.
